Holm Agency was established in 1996 by Lars Otto Holm, and since its inception has developed into a key player in ship agency services in Northern Norway. Based in Tromsø – one of the region’s most important hubs for maritime activity – we have over the years built up solid experience and a strong professional environment in port operations and logistics.
We provide services to shipping companies, charterers and operators, with a focus on practical solutions and reliable execution. Our role is to ensure that calls are carried out safely, efficiently and without unnecessary delays – regardless of complexity.

Part of a larger delivery
Holm Agency is today part of the Holm Group and is part of a comprehensive logistics offering that covers the entire value chain – from call to further transport. This gives our customers a single point of contact and better control throughout the entire operation.
In 2025, we established Holm Port Logistics (HPL) as a separate operational department within Holm Agency. HPL handles terminal and logistics assignments, and has special responsibility for customers with needs outside Tromsø and in international operations.
Through HPL, we strengthen our capacity and reach, while offering a more complete and integrated delivery – from the quay to further logistics, both regionally and internationally.
Our approach
We offer a wide range of services related to ship calls, including coordination with ports and authorities, deliveries to vessels, crew handling and customs clearance. Our goal is to create fluidity in operations through good planning, clear communication and close follow-up.
